2103 Energy and the Environment. Prerequisite: Sophomore standing, Energy and its consequences on the environment, the economy, geopolitics, nuclear power, hydropower, renewables, energy efficiency and mileage requirements for cars; these are issues that are part of the national debate. The course will give students a basic understanding of energy and power, and the consequences, in order to have an informed opinion. (Sp)
